Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
This policy explains what 314DApp (314d.app) collects when you browse apps, publish on the Bulletin Board, tip creators, or use Author / Developer features. 314DApp is an independent project and is not affiliated with the Pi Core Team.
1. Data we collect
- Pi account basics. When you sign in with Pi, we receive your Pi user identifier and, with the scopes you approve, your username / avatar. We use this to power favorites, likes, comments, submissions, tips, earnings, and similar account features. We never receive your Pi wallet seed or private keys.
- Content you create. Apps you submit or claim, articles, comments, reviews, update requests, and related media (e.g. covers or screenshots you upload).
- Tips, promotions & withdrawals. Payment records from the Pi SDK (amount, type, status, related app or article), tip balances, withdrawal requests, and an activity ledger of successful credits and paid withdrawals. Platform and network fees may apply when you withdraw tip balances; amounts are shown before you confirm.
- Usage signals. For published articles we may record qualified reads and completion signals (e.g. a local visitor id for anonymous readers, dwell / scroll depth) to power reading rewards, quality scores, and ranking. Authors can see aggregate stats in Author Center — not raw device fingerprints of every reader.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
2. How we use data
- Operate the directory, Bulletin Board, Author Center, and Developer Center.
- Process tips, reading rewards, campaign payouts, paid promotion, and withdrawals.
- Moderate content, prevent fraud / spam, and keep rankings and incentives fair.
- Show first-party or third-party ads where enabled (see Advertising below).
- Improve product performance and fix issues.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies & similar storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We also store preferences (such as cookie consent) and may store a visitor id in local storage for anonymous article-read measurement. Advertising / analytics scripts load only after you choose Accept all on our consent bar (or equivalent). Details: Cookie Policy.
4. Advertising
We may show our own house creatives and/or third-party ads (for example Google AdSense). Ad partners may use cookies or similar tech to measure and, if you consent, personalize ads. You can limit personalized ads via your browser, the partner's ad settings, or by choosing Essential only on our consent bar.
5. Sharing
- Pi Network / Pi SDK — authentication and payment confirmation happen with Pi; we receive the results we need to settle tips and promotions.
- Infrastructure — hosting, database, object storage, and similar processors that help us run the service.
- Public content — published apps, articles, comments, and display names are visible to other users.
- Legal — if required to comply with law or protect users and the platform.
6. Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed for tips, withdrawals, moderation, and legal obligations. You may ask us to delete or correct account data where feasible; some payment and audit records may need to be retained.
7. Your choices
- Sign out or disconnect Pi access from your Pi settings.
- Edit or request removal of content you control (subject to moderation and legal holds).
- Manage cookie consent (Essential only vs Accept all) and clear site data in your browser.
- Contact us for privacy questions: [email protected].
8. Children
314DApp is aimed at Pioneers who can use Pi Network. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves (for example new incentive or ad features). The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
